About Bodegas Los Bermejos

Bodegas Los Bermejos is Lanzarote's leading organic winery, revived in 2001 on an 18th-century estate in San Bartolome. The family-run bodega emphasises minimal intervention — letting the volcanic terroir and Malvasía Volcánica grape speak for themselves. Their wines are certified organic (ecologico), and they are widely regarded as producing some of the finest wines on the island.

The name 'Bermejo' refers to the reddish-brown colour of the volcanic landscape surrounding the estate. Their Naturalmente Dulce is made by stopping fermentation naturally — no added sugar, no added alcohol — just pure, concentrated Malvasía sweetness aged in French oak solera barrels.
