Liquids over 100ml are not allowed in hand luggage. Wine and spirits must go in your checked/hold luggage. Small bottles under 100ml (like miniatures) can go in your clear liquids bag in hand luggage, but full bottles of wine and spirits need to be packed in your suitcase.

The best way is to wrap each bottle in your clothes — place it in the centre of your suitcase surrounded by soft items. Top tip: if you have socks with you, put a pair of socks on each end of the bottle (top and tail), then wrap it in a jumper or towel and pack it in the middle of your case. We've had customers take home dozens of bottles this way without a single breakage.

No, we don't stock bottle bags or flight carriers. But honestly you don't need them — just wrap your bottles in clothes and socks. Put a sock on each end of the bottle, wrap it in something soft, and place it in the centre of your suitcase. It works perfectly every time.

There's no limit on how many bottles you can pack in your checked luggage — it's down to your airline weight allowance. Lanzarote is part of the EU so there are no customs duties on alcohol brought back to EU countries. For UK visitors, the duty-free allowance is 42 litres of beer, 18 litres of still wine, and 4 litres of spirits.
